Webster Township occupies a quiet corner of Androscoggin County where farmland and forest create a rural landscape just minutes from the Lewiston-Auburn metropolitan area. The population of about 185 reflects the township’s small scale, but the proximity to Lewiston-Auburn means this isn’t isolation. It’s selective distance, close enough to reach but far enough to feel like escape.

Sabattus Pond, shared with neighboring Sabattus and Wales, provides the water recreation that completes Webster’s appeal. The lake supports bass and pickerel fishing, and its protected waters attract kayakers and canoeists seeking a less crowded alternative to coastal paddling.
